One of the reasons for male infertility is varicocele.

Its a condition in which the veins of the testis are dilated. This may result from long standing job. Varicocele may increase the temperature of the testis and lower the sperm count leading to male infertility.

Conventional treatment for this will be surgery.

With interventional Radiology the dilated, pathological veins of the testis can be accessed through the groin veins and can be embolised. This gives the same result as the surgery on the sperm count and at the same time avoids a surgery.
